The Dice House
20 & 21 February 2026, Blewbury Village Hall
We are supporting a ‘radio play’ performance of the Dice House in the village hall.
The Dice House, by Paul Lucas, is an irreverent black comedy inspired by Luke Rhinehart’s cult book The Dice Man which explores the nature and limitations of free will. What happens if we make all decisions based on the whim of a dice?
The performances will be rehearsed readings so the cast will be reading from scripts by their microphones in the style of a radio play. Whilst this won’t be a full production, there will be an opportunity to get involved in other aspects of theatre; sound, lights, production, stage management, front of house, costume if people want to.
The venue opens at 7.30pm prior to 8.00pm performances.
Please be aware, this play is a black comedy with adult themes and adult language. Consequently it is rated 18+.
