Drama in an Oxfordshire Village - Fifty Years of the Blewbury Players 

Village Hall, 20 March.

Starts 7.30pm. Doors open 7pm.

Steve will look back to the origins of the Players in the growth of Blewbury after the second world war, in the tradition of drama and performance which became established in the village through the sixties and seventies and in the legacy left by the Stockwells Players in Aston Upthorpe. He will describe the evolution of the Players as an organisation and their plays and other shows and their relationship to other productions in the village like the Blewbury Opera. They’ll be plenty of pictures, some film and some live performance. The book will be published on 14th July.

All tickets for this evening will include a complimentary glass of wine or a soft drink.

Tickets for Friends will be complimentary and they will have received a code by email before the box office opens.

Tickets for others will be £5.
